The Consols Pond Conservation Group are
hoping to restore the pond to its former glory so that it can be used for
the traditional Good Friday boating activities in 2010. They happy to have the kind cooperation of the land owner and are currently working with various agencies, volunteers and professionals to achieve this. |

After several months of planning, discussions, negotiations and meetings AND with a lot of hard work Consols Pond is returned to its former, glorious self. |

Good Friday 2010 will see the return of the model boating tradition to Consols Pond. |
